Privacy

Privacy policy.

Effective September 1, 2026

Summary

JSON Anvil is designed so that text entered into its JSON tools is processed locally in your browser. The site does not intentionally transmit, store or use tool input on an application server. This policy also explains the separate technical information that may be processed when you visit the website.

JSON tool input

Formatting, validation, repair, comparison, JSONPath queries, schema generation, TypeScript generation and redaction run in browser code. Tool input is held in the current page state and is not submitted to JSON Anvil. Clearing the page, navigating away or closing the tab removes that state unless your browser or an extension independently preserves form data.

Do not paste information you are not authorized to handle. Local processing reduces server exposure but cannot protect against compromised devices, browser extensions, screen capture, copied output or other software outside JSON Anvil.

Technical request information

When you request a page, hosting and security providers may process standard network information such as IP address, browser and device headers, requested URL, timestamp, approximate region, cache status and security events. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose reliability problems.

Advertising and cookies

JSON Anvil may use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit and measure advertising. Google’s use of advertising cookies may enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage personalized advertising through Google’s advertising settings. Advertising behavior depends on region, consent choices and provider configuration.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising is intended to use a Google-certified consent management platform supporting the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The message can provide choices to consent, refuse or manage purposes and vendors before consent-dependent advertising storage is used.

You may also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking storage can affect advertising preferences but does not prevent the core JSON tools from processing text locally.

External links

Guides may link to standards or third-party documentation. Those services receive requests under their own privacy policies when you follow a link. JSON Anvil is not responsible for their practices.

Children

JSON Anvil is a general developer resource and is not directed to children under 13. The site does not provide user accounts or intentionally collect children’s personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when site behavior or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised on this page. Questions can be sent to yjh@dgvantage.com.
